A Birth Center, an alternative birth environment, was very much inspired by our philosophy of CHOICE. We believe women deserve choices, from the type of health care provider they feel comfortable with to the place families choose to birth.

Our unique approach is founded on the belief that every woman deserves a medically safe alternative to hospital-based care. We view pregnancy and birth as normal, healthy events in the life of a family.

At A Birth Center, every effort is made to create the loving, intimate feeling of an at-home birth, while providing the safety of continuous one-on-one care. Either as A Birth Center or the hospital, you'll have the support of our highly skilled and caring team of professional during your prenatal care, labor, and birth. We are your midwifery experts!

Coalition for Childbirth Choices gives care by team of midwives and professionals with readily accessible physician consultation by our Medical Director Wayne DiGiacomo, MD, FACOG. The Clinical Director is Marguerite Epstein, LM. Our services include women's health care needs for gynecology and obstetrics, including high-risk pregnancy management, gynecological care and surgical interventions. Our Well- Woman Birth and gynecology Program combines the latest scientific knowledge with a deep respect for your lifestyle. In an intimate atmosphere of shared knowledge, mutual responsibility and education, you are an active participant in developing a comprehensive plan of care that is completely safe and totally your own.

When entering our circle of care, you may choose to give birth at home, the birth center, or a traditional hospital.

Our facility houses both our medical office and birth center. A Birth Center features three birth rooms just like your bedrooms with regular size beds and bedroom furniture. Each birth room has adjoining bathrooms and tubs for comforting labor and birth.

Our Support system at our center includes certified licensed midwives, licensed midwives, student midwives, and a supportive office staff all ready to support you during your entire pregnancy and childbirth.
