Dr. DiGiacomo creates a home-like atmosphere with a caring staff and easy physician access. He provides multi-level delivery options such as a birth center birth and a hospital birth. Dr. DiGiacomo is a fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of Broward Medical Society, and is featured in Who's Who in Medicine Men of Achievement 15th edition, Cambridge England. Dr. DiGiacomo graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor Degree in Science. He also graduated from the University of Rome with a Medical Degree.
Dr. DiGiacomo has been in practice for over a decade. Trained on multiple continents, he has endeavored to provide an environment where the goal of keeping women healthy is attainable. Never forgetting that a birth is the mutual experience of a couple, every effort is made to include the partner in all levels of decision-making and in the evolution of the birth plan. These decisions are made by the couple throughout the process of the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care with gentle guidance of the office and medical staff.
Dr. DiGiacomo is unique in that he believes that nature intended women to deliver babies without a lot of medical intervention. He believes that women have better and healthier results if you let nature take its course. Dr. DiGiacomo believes in the natural birth process therefore he along with Deborah DiGiacomo found Coalition for Childbirth Choices. In the event the pregnancy becomes complicated or high risk or a hospital birth is necessary Dr. DiGiacomo will be able to continue care for the woman and her baby.

Jennifer has been practicing midwifery for eight years and desires to give women the opportunity to birth in our birthing center or at home. Being the oldest of 12 children, all born at home with a midwife makes Jennifer very comfortable with natural birth. Jennifer had her own children (all five) delivered naturally with midwives. She feels a strong bond with the pregnant, laboring, and postpartum women she cares for, which helps her to properly assist them before, during, and after the pregnancy. Jennifer believes natural childbirth is a safe and wonderful way to welcome a new soul into life's cycle.
Onidis Lopez is our new addition to Venetian Isle Medical Center and A Birth Center. She began her schooling as an architect, graduated, and later found out that it wasn't her calling. In search of her passion, she came to the realization that what she enjoyed from a young age, helping and assisting mothers-to-be with their deliveries, was teh very thing that she most desired to do. In May of 2004, she graduated from Miami Dade Community College with an Associates Degree in Midiwfery.
Onidis looks forward to being of service through your prenatal delivery, postpartum and gynecological care. She is fluent in English, Spanish and American Sign Language.
Naeemah Jones, a native of Boston, Mass. has worked in the medical field for over twenty years. She now resides in South Florida as a Cappa Certified Childbirth Educator and Dona Certified Doula. Naeemah has a passion for educating her clients about the intricacies of labor and natural childbirth. She is a resource of up to date childbirth information and other birthing related concerns.
Naeemah educates her clients that the best way to give birth is the natural way, she instructs her clients to learn that they have a choice on how they want to birth their babies. She helps her clients to become confident and secure about having a healthy and safe birth experience. She also practices reflective listening and non-judgmental guidance regarding her clients' decisions.
